Well, for those of you who didn't know, Maxx and I have been working on a WPF book for the last 6-8 months--which is part of the reason why we have not been terribly good at getting up blog entries here.

The book is now in its final review, and should be coming out some time in December. Still lots to do, though, including making sure we are up-to-date with Visual Studio 2008, indexing and so forth.

The book is called WPF In Action, and is part of Manning's In Action series.

My last book, ADO.NET Programming, was "sort-of" in the series, but before it got that name. The ADO.NET book is still somewhat current, except that it doesn't include some of the changes from 2005. However, when 2008 ships, it will be pretty obsolete, since it doesn't cover DLinq. We've talked a bit about doing a new edition that covers DLinq et al, but not sure whether it makes sense at this point.

Anyway, now that the bulk of the book is done, you should expect to see Maxx and I posting a lot more about WPF, including a fair amount of stuff we created but didn't included in the book.
