Do you Silverlight? Configuresoft is hiring

The team I work with at Configuresoft is hiring. We are looking to fill an opening on our application infrastructure team, building the framework that underlies our new application development projects. Our new applications make heavy use of Silverlight and .Net 3.5 to display data visualizations built from the ECM CMDB.

Position Summary:

This position is will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of components of an application development framework using C# and .NET.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Software design, development and associated documentation
  • Development and maintenance of unit and integration tests
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Issues and Decisions:

· Must balance the architectural and design requirements against the business plans and needs to make optimal design and implementation decisions.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, code, test and integration in C#/.NET and have a good understanding of object oriented software development.
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong background in commercial product development is required
  • Must demonstrate versatility, motivation, and a proven interest in learning new concepts
  • Ability to implement core pieces of program functionality
  • Interest and ability to break down larger problems
  • Good verbal communications skills coupled with the emotional maturity to work with others in a deadline oriented atmosphere
  • At least 5-7+ years of experience in large scale software development
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, M.S. preferred

Organization Context:

The Infrastructure and Architecture group provides the software infrastructure and application development platform for Configuresoft’s product line.
