WPF In Action with Visual Studio 2008

WPF In Action

This is the book that Maxx and Arlen have been working on for the past millennia or so. Our goal was to write a WPF book for active developers--developers who don't necessarily have time to play around with the early release versions, but who hope to use WPF in real-world applications.

WPF In Action is the first book that addresses WPF using Visual Studio 2008. We've also tried to focus more on real-world situations that we would expect the average developer to run into, and specifically avoided regurgitating MSDN property and method lists.

We figure our readers will have access to MSDN doc, and so don't feel it necessary to rehash what is already there. If you are interested, you can see some advanced chapters of the book by going to our Manning page. And if you'd like to pre-order a dozen or so copies, feel free.

The book is also presented in glorious black-and-white! Others may think that color is cool, but think about all the extra bits of your eyes that you won't have to exercise by reading our book!
